Two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) were arrested by security forces in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Friday, a police spokesman said this afternoon.
He said on a tip off Rashtriya Rifles (RR), CRPF and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police arrested three OGWs in Tral Awantipora in Pulwama. The OGWs identified as Mohammad Umar Tantray and Reyaz Ahmad Bhat who were allegedly providing logistic support, including shelter and transporting arms and ammunition and militants from one place to another.
He said some incriminating and explosive material were recovered from their possession. Case FIR number 72/2020 stands registered against OGWs in Police Station Tral under relevant sections of law.
